Hallo Opi, entpacke die Firmware am PC, kopiere sie auf einen USB-Stick oder die Festplatte im Gerät und starte das Update über die Einstellung im Menü. System> Firmware aktualisieren. Damit sollte es funktionieren.

Kann ich bestätigen, war bei mir genauso: Entpacken nicht möglich, also entpackte Datei auf USB-Stick runter geladen und wie oben beschrieben verfahren. Lief problemlos.

Hi There. I had a never-ending message "Initializing" with the "66" version yesterday. I tried the reset operation as mentionned in this forum (shutdown the X40, unplugged the internal hard disk, start the X40, reset with factory paramater, shutdown the X40, plugged in the internal hard disk) : its worked one time and this morning, the never-ending message reappered.
I update the firmeware with the "63" version. Hope, it will work ...

Hello, unpack the firmware on the PC, copy it to a USB stick or the hard disk in the device and start the update via the setting in the menu. System> Update Firmware. That should work.
