? It's complete nonsense + a waste of time!
Seems to me, you're not up-to-date with the formats of digital music data (lossy versus lossless).
Take some minutes to read about it in a wiki or so.
In short: mp3 is by def. a lossy format, no encoding etc. nothing brings back the orig. quality - exclamation mark.
(we don't have to discuss "upsampling" here, as far as I know, CA-machines do not have it implemented).
Flac is a lossless format + you can choose for ex. to rip CDs or analog-inputs (vinyls) in that format, with best results.
