• Replace cooling fan with a heat-pipe heatsink? (next generation X10)

    Hi X10 Product Developers,

In the current X10 design, the cooling is done by an noisy fan. Besides the noise, the fan consumes power and is a mechanical device with wear.

Think about a 'solid-state' heat-pipe heat sink to cool the X10 CPU and hard disk without electrical power, noise and wear?

    Hi,

on the current X10 Case design this is impossible. We already proof that. All future devices will be build from the beginning without fan :-)
